More about the event …
-
Across the weekend we will explore a range of Osho Active Meditations, including Dynamic and Kundalini Meditation, as well as Evening Meeting, dance, sharing, live music, playful meditation “playshops”, sauna and time to rest.
The programme includes active, expressive and silent practices, giving space for both energy and stillness, connection and inner reflection.
-
Osho has experimented and scrutinised all the approaches of the past and examined their effects on the modern human being. He has responded to their shortcomings by creating a starting point for the hyperactive 21st century mind: OSHO Active Meditations®. Once the agitation of a modern lifetime has started to settle, "activity" can melt into "passivity", a key starting point for of real meditation.
To support this next step, Osho has transformed the ancient "art of listening" into a subtle contemporary methodology: the OSHO Talks. Here words become music, the listener discovers who is listening, and the awareness moves from what is being heard to the individual doing the listening. -
This weekend is an opportunity to experience meditation in a more embodied, alive and playful way. Through movement, sound, dance, stillness and connection, you may discover more relaxation, emotional clarity, body awareness and inner quiet.
You’ll also learn meditation techniques that can support you beyond the retreat, including practices you can continue at home.
-
No previous experience is needed. This event is open to both newcomers and people familiar with Osho Active Meditations.
The meditations are guided, and you are invited to participate in a way that respects your own body, energy and boundaries. Some practices may include movement, shaking, sound, dance or silence, but there is no need to perform or get anything “right”.

Meet your facilitators
Archan, Satyam, and Prabuddho are trained Osho Meditation facilitators and love to share their many collective years of experience with these healing and contemporary active meditations.
Prabuddho
-
Prabuddho discovered the healing benefit and joy of meditation, self-exploration, and transformation through Osho. In recent years has found that Osho’s active meditations are increasingly valuable, as they provide a fun and easy way to experience a quiet, nourishing space within.
At Leela, he has been part of the Osho meditation retreats team for many years. At Leela, he enjoys offering active meditations, improv comedy workshops, and sometimes sharing devotional songs with guitar and voice, creating spaces where people can open, play, and grow. He loves being part of the vibrant Leela community with his partner, Ramana.
His love for theatre, music, and community flows naturally into his presence as a space-holder. He delights in bringing creativity, joy, and heart to spiritual practice.
When not in Leela, Prabuddho teaches in higher education in London and practices meditation in the marketplace!
Archan
-
Archan has co-hosted many Osho retreats at Leela, and has been involved in leading Osho’s meditation and dance events in London together with Prabuddho for many years.
She has found the meditations to be so helpful and nourishing for her own soul, and finds it wonderful to share them with others. She loves the way that the meditations begin with movement, which leads to a natural stillness and silence. It has also been her great joy to facilitate Shamanic Trance Dance and Shaking for many years, and she also loves to sing, enjoys long country walks, and is a keen gardener.
Satyam
-
Satyam currently divides her time between working as a music therapist in the UK and being in the OSHO meditation resort in Pune, India. At the resort, she facilitates OSHO Meditative Therapies and trainings, gives singing courses and sessions, and enjoys playing with the Evening Meeting band. She first met fellow-travellers Prabuddho and Archan in the Medina Commune in the early 1980’s and reconnected again when she lived at Leela in the early 2000’s. Her passion for and enjoyment of meditation has grown and deepened over the years as she slowly discovers that, as Osho says, ‘There is only one problem, and that is to be in the mind’!
