Getting to Leela

By Car

Our postcode is SP8 4RE.

Take the M3, leave at Junction 8 to take the A303. Follow this until Mere, then take the B3092/5 left to Gillingham.

You will see brown signs to Caravan/Camping – follow these until you reach the B3081 at traffic lights. Turn right and then take the second left into Broad Robin which becomes Common Mead Lane. Follow this for about 3/4 mile until just before the speed limit signs – Thorngrove is on the right. Follow the drive up to the car park (signed) on the left.

  • From Devon take the A303. After Wincanton look for the B3081 to Gillingham. When the housing starts on the outskirts of town look for the brown Caravan/Camping signs on your right. Turn right into Broad Robin which becomes Common Mead Lane. Follow this for about 3/4 mile until just before the speed limit signs – Thorngrove is on the right. Follow the drive up to the car park (signed) on the left.

  • Take the A350 to Shaftesbury. From Shaftesbury take the B3081 to Gillingham (5 miles). In Gillingham follow signs for the B3081 to Wincanton. Just past Waitrose to your right turn left at the traffic lights on to Wyke Street (B3081). Take the second left into Broad Robin which becomes Common Mead Lane with brown Caravan/Camping sign. Follow this for about 3/4 mile until just before the speed limit signs – Thorngrove is on the right. Follow the drive up to the car park (signed) on the left.

  • Take the A37 to Shepton Mallet the A371. Turn left off at the B3081, through Bruton towards Gillingham . When the housing starts on the outskirts of town look for the brown Caravan/Camping signs on your right. Turn right into Broad Robin which becomes Common Mead Lane. Follow this for about 3/4 mile until just before the speed limit signs – Thorngrove is on the right. Follow the drive up to the car park (signed) on the left.

By Air

The closest airports to the Leela Centre are, in order of closeness, Bournemouth, Bristol, Exeter and Southampton.

However, unless you are hiring a car, being picked up, or taking a taxi, it is usually easier to fly into any of the 5 London airports and get a train from London Waterloo, as detailed below.
